You don&#039;t know me but I knew your dear mother.  She and I took the train into the city before she moved into Manhattan, and I caught one of her cabaret shows at Danny&#039;s Skylight.  She spoke so highly of you!

I am so sorry to learn of your accident,  but your interesting and inspiring posts suggest strongly that your sense of humor and good spirits remain intact.  I hope you are on your feet again soon, that everything &quot;reawakens&quot; for you in short order.  

How wonderful that you will one day fulfill your dream of becoming a medical doctor.  Most impressive.  You&#039;ll certainly have a leg up (no pun intended) on your fellow first-year medical students as far as complete understanding of spinal injury and rehab!
